July & August 2026

Hello/Hi,

How’s everyone doing?

With some rough moments in life (financial & emotional stress), I could say I struggled a lot through these last two months but I managed to make it alive to write this and I’m glad I did my best.

Spending time in summer could get exhaustive, complain-full, financially challenging but you cannot hate also the lively and crisp feeling it gives. To be honest, I didn’t take photos that much since I stayed in-doors mostly, reading (surprisingly), and cooking but it was most relaxing of this year. And, I don’t want to shy away being poorer and being more introvert than usual.

Ok, time to share for you and go over for myself, let’s go!

July 2026 some time….

The month starts with me watching Toy Story 5. You know I like animation movie still and it was the most nostalgic cartoon movie I have ever watched. So, I give it a five star, personally. I loved that it was a lonely girl’s point of view, which I cannot help but relate too deeply.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

“I loved it and cried over it, being a woman-child yet”

My mom got some food gift from my coworker who is similar age as her for a doing her favor. Is that usual? Some people get recognized more easily I see. I am glad my family is one of the people, truly.

I got some strawberries for our team to eat while working in an office.

Sweat-heartedness can brighten your day.

I hope you like k-pop and I thought of making beads-work on a blank hand mirror. It suddenly looked look candy on a stick, so I played with alphabet beads to make that. It’s funny and childish, but I liked it.

Some people don’t like to walk alone without any reasons (like going for a walk just to walk) but I do. Mindlessly flipping through playlists that I have not known before, I feel like I am learning too think differently.

I sneaked out and ate some gelato that lunch time at my office. Coconut and strawberry flavor that I cannot forget.

#gelataria dolce mia Bloor

It must have been one of my Wednesday-off. I tried lattes and popcorn carts at Bloor, listening to Carley Rae’s new song. So summer-y.

I was walking home after exercise and found a moon that lit up at 4pm. I dont’ know how that happens scientifically but it look special and pretty.

Like I said, I stayed home mostly so…I ate this in effort to eat healthier. All those instant and grown food has destroyed my body. Recovery is very effortful and not entertaining at all.

Finally saw a matcha latte, like they have advertised in Tim Horton, it needed more work on how to melt matcha flawlessly but it is good enough they made it. I think it will be my second favorite drink.

Ok, that’s a bad self-hair cut but I turned my hair black. I look much classy and older but most people feel more comfortable that way.

Reading at work can get very self-conscious. I feel like not doing the right thing but I feel it is better than pretending to work on computer by blindly clicking anywhere on screen or talking to neighboring coworker about things either of us is curious about. Such a delema!

Working is hard but rewarding. People who visit us can be a little nicer and ruder but I find it unavoidable and essential to be part of some team and do social activity besides rewards like money and experience lists that’s given.

Eating on the way home is totally not a choice to me. It’s necessary to get home cuz I’m too exhausted and I know no other way to cheer me up like food does.

Drinking pure water cannot be stressed enough to brewery the health by cleansing gut and blood subciquently but it is kind of painful reminder to me who can even taste tasteless water. Feels like a task so I did it at work that day

“Why is everyone getting married” seems like a narscistic question but I mean am I the only person to think marriage is a choice. They all dreamt say “I do “like nope is not an option anymore. But, I say no.

Before leaving to Boston trip (surprise?),I wanted my nail done. Pretty and design is straight out of the Pinterest. Poka dots on nails is great idea.

I made a really rough plan but something that works without much work(?) for my civic holiday Boston trip. But civic holiday is not even a real holiday anymore (oops.;; I will make up to this)

Can you believe I worked on the day I’m leaving for a 13-hour bus trip? I even carried a carry-on to work. But but it is take it or leave fun so not a choice there. I managed to grab a bite of sushi roll at Union station.

August 2026 some day….

Boston Trip

I was seated at near end. Oh well, at least nobody peaks at me while reading this book (“Art Theif”, that was a best seller a while ago) Also, I came across best apple flavored pop.

Those were lines from the book, Art thief, that I liked the most. It is a very interesting theme, it’s sort of following what a thief thinks inside while stealing things, and life trajectory, as well as their health and love life. Very authentic book, I thought. It’s also about Boston museum so it’s is perfect for me.

I was so hungry midway. Wow, how do they travel like this? I should’ve gotten into plain, if I counted the air bnb (+1) price too. Wrong choice led me to regrets and lots of time to rethink about life.

The very first thing I did when arrived to Boston is to go this cafe near south station cuz I was basically starving at 11 am. Viet-cafe, no surprise there. I loved there was a soup and coconut slush latte.

#phin coffee house

Next thing was to visit this old local bookstore which sells book indoors and outdoors, it was famous on Pinterest as photo spot. That’s me >> in photo pretending to be choosing books. (Haha)

It was well decorated in old-fashioned way indoor too.

#brattle bookstore

Then, I headed to a park in central Boston downtown. As you can see, it is very peaceful and has a swan boat and everything. A mix of city view and nature, like New York. I loved the view and vibes people had. Everything there was picture-worthy.

#public garden

Who knew acorn street was the right one that had the flag, amongst 5 similar looking streets. Wow, it was small street but packed with tourists. 12pm-1pm is terrible time to visit to take pics.

#acron st

If you were looking for a gift shop at south end, as opposed to north end, and jelly cats, then this is right place to go. Again, very small shop that got everything about Boston.

#theflatofthehill

About a 5 min-walk, there is blankstree coffee, a clean but remarkable matcha place. Basically house Starbucks but much new-er so much youths in there.

#blankstreet

So so hot, i had grab something from Whole Foods to drink.

Then, I headed one of campus, not Harvard but MIT. You know most people go here to tour in high school to see famous schools you might go to. But, going there as a 30-year-old was just hot sunlight and light heartedness.

#thegreatdome

Nearby, is the buildings that are artistically designed, I took a seat and ate mango I just bought. I couldn’t quite capture the whole buildings. Very peaceful park area.

Second day in Boston

The first thing I did was buy a metro day pass cuz I learned my lesson ver yesterday that walking in this weather is not a great idea.

They call one of their metro card a Charlie card?

idk what this bakery/cafe ordinates from but they seeemed to be everywhere in Boston, quite large windows and great food. Italian-bistro-themed.

#tattebakery

Oh well, I am not watching a game but I had to take a pic in front of stadium. Baseball is also famous in Boston. There seems to be whole tours but I had no time.

#fenwayapark

Museum of Boston has this room, as soon as you enter. I was stopped by a protester of a man. Such a pretty space.

They got Monet to Mile so I reccomand do not skip

#bostonmuseum

The painting that I most looked in the museum cuz it i is a husband who dearly loved his wife to paint her all the time, his name: Monet.

The Boston library is not open on Sundays late morning so I went to grab a lobster way early.

This place seems like a chain and casual enough for solo

#Luke’s lobster

Then I got ice cream in idle time before entry to anther museum. It was very sweat for me.

#leeuwenicecream

It was time to go to this medium with a beautiful garden. Its focus is furniture, sculpture, and plants rather than paintings. This is pretty much all I saw cuz it’s so crowded and had to line up.

#isabellastewartgarden

Then, I took a bus that was like never coming to the Boston library, there are two buildings of it, this one is for tourists and the other one is for really borrowing books. Very pretty but I went there when it was time for summer final tests. So, I couldn’t take picture of green stands.

#bostonpubliclibrary

I saw this baker in New York vlogs but it was here too. They got fat, scone-like cookies.

#Laveinbakery

The last thing I did was to go this mural of a restaurant?, in effort to find something to eat for dinner (I ended up going to another bar) but, there are at least 40 min wait time at the oyster house around this season.

The end-

Now the fun part was over, I worked so hard and very next day, accompanied my brother to go to visit our doctor. My brother got me a sparkling-drink from nearby cafe.

#craves

I stayed home and cooked this day and shared it with my brother.

Beef chops in black pepper sauce.

This is another day of cooking at home. With the same kind of bee I made a salad. Butter pickle was a must

I went to Ajax again and bought a bracelet, which ended up breaking after like 3 days. I was happy this moment at least.

I read this book and suspected I was ADHD. It seemed to accurately describe myself. But, I ignored cuz I don‘t have right pay to see a CBT specialist.

I ate two much and doing exercise is painful but a goal of this fall. I can’t be more big-bellied especially I go to a clinic that is somewhat a lot to be related to weight.

U see my guilt has built up to buy a salad and a green tea without sugar. I remember it was Sunday. Being broke and fat is not easy.

Yet, another cooling time has come. Isn’t it more healthy when your eat home, it’s stopped to be.

Pad Thai I cooked was straight out of the sauce but there were some bean sprouts.

Like I have said, I try o read lately, this poem, poem because I like to read shortly, caught my eyes.

It’s about viewing life in two lenses, where you deliberately choose to be positive in same situation you could be negative.

Another working day has come and gone and I just headed home. Tim Hortons and Harry Potter has collaborated.

I went to a mall and only had rouge poulet, first time trying this. Although somebody at the same line said, “everything except pineapple”, pineapple went well with salad.

On the way home, I bought 6 dollar Korean lip tint that was on sale cuz I forgot one from home and I didn’t want to go bare lipped after eating.

Another subway scene with working day ahead of me. So tired already. Pls let me go home and don’t forget to fast-forward the clock.

You know, superstore decided go on a sale with lambs so I cooked twice as steak. They smell a little after a day or two of marinating but it was good.

By now, you should know working is unavoidable in my life and I don’t know how to put off stress besides food. I un-froze the tteokboki and some with sweet potato with matcha made at home and it set me up for another day.

Did you know app Libly? It lets you borrow books at home with public library card. I felt like a fool to buy all those books. But you should wait in line to read newly bestsellers still.

I could afford to have self-date after a payday. I went to Dundas and did back and forth on streetcar to spend a lunch time. Everything looks beautiful with dslr filter

#nilecoffee

#matchatokyo

#acutepizza

Idk what’s with me and gifts but I keep buying although nobody expects it. I bought yarns from Kensington market and baggy bag from record store.

#untangledyarn

#sonicbooom

Another kim-bob~~ from somebody. I didn’t have to bring lunch and it was good kind of suprise.

I went to see Spider-Man (Dont’ worry I can still watch movies)

It was mix of drama and action.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Evivva breakfast was on salad and I might choke so I ordered a drink. I left a review at google too.

#evivabreakfast

A bubletea nearby had a panda and a watermelon slush. Not a big fan of pearls wideout any taste.

#teabydo

I hated my hair although hair is not really the real problem.

Got shorter and more straight with some money.

#perfectxhair

I went to BTS concert (year in pouring rain). No misunderstanding, I bought it long time ago and somebody else got the ticket and sold it to me. It was fun although, I went to rogers centre (union) not rogers stadium first.

Look, they wore Canada stuff. I went to another Idol concert last year or so, and I found that BTS woks harder to connect.

It rained the next day too so my mom made kalkoosoo. Mouth-watering, still

I am getting older. And Audrey looking hair didn’t get me anywhere. Wait, knowing Audrey a old thing tooo?

Summary

That’s it for this summer. I can feel the autumn coming already so I guess that’s a good time done.

I hope you had some fun reading this, although I am going to read it most.

I hope you stay healthy and happy, skipping thru the flu season.

Bye-bye till the fall,

With love,

From Jane.
