Sept & Oct 2025

Howdy~ everyone. It’s getting cold lately and everyone’s dressed up warm. I hope you didn’t catch any cold yet.

To be honest, I’m currently not feeling well but kind of overwhelmed because chances came along misfortune recently. I am currently going under probation period in a medical office while keeping a job that I used to have. It’s very busy but I am thankful for opportunities.

Anyhow, this is how my September and October went this year.

Sept 1

I happened to dislike my short hair that day so I consulted a hair stylist to extend the hair and they asked me to send photos of mine. (As shown below) They asked for a lot of money since I had to dye the hair to match the extension hair. Everything is expensive in Canada nowadays.

Sept 2nd

My mom needed to renew her passport so I had to reserve for visit. It used to be easier to reach, the consulate, however it is not anymore. Everyone needs to book first and show up in the right time.

On the same day, I planned for the trip to west coast of Canada and Seattle. Here’s video of the plan.

Sitting at the mom’s shop I did some crocheting. Look I did a bear in a circle. So fun. I am glad I am improving in crocheting.

Sept 3

This is before I got a job at medical office so I had a lot of time. So, I did another crocheting with squid.

Sept 4

I went to hair salon and got my hair done. I am satisfied with the result. I mean black hair makes me so much formal. I liked it long too.

Sept 5

You know drinking water is a healthy habit but honestly I don’t drink any water. So, I brought a flavored water along that day on the way to my mom ‘s place.

Sept 6

The day has come. I mean it is the first day of trip and I was very excited. It was a little uncomfortable travel so I was very tired.

I left a bag in a bounce place in Victoria Island and I began my trip.

This is Victoria Harbour full of yahts The legislate building is welcoming too. I took a selfie or two in front of the buildling. It was cloudy but good.

I took a ferry that day from Victoria to Seattle. It turns out that was not a good choice for me because I got sea sick. Take the ferry only when you are not a sea sick person.

The public market was the first place on my Seattle trip’s itinenary because it was night time and had no place I can go safely. (I visited here and there and went back to the air bnb)

Sept 7

Very Next day early morning, I visited the pike place market again. I mean I took lots of photos because the port scenery was very beautiful. I liked the color of my dress: brown with white flowers.

The gum wall was kind of unclean to be honest but I took a photo or two to because it’s traveler’s must-see attraction.

Of course, I didn’t miss the public market sign and a photo in front of it either.

Bacco cafe was next walk I made. It had line up not that it was pinterest friendly place to eat and I was kind of tired of walking around alone.

I went to space needle by uber and took a picture of that landmark of Seattle. The random trees made it cute too.

Chinhuly garden was selfie stick free so I took a photo or two in front of most famous glass work of his. It was beautiful but I had a big photo project in mind but it was kind of disappointing as of my self note.

Next thing I noticed was I was on a 5 min ride via monorail. It connected downtown to uptown. It was fun but I came back right around because I had no business planned up there.hhh

Aquarium~! for kids only I believe but for someone like me there was no better place to do the nothing-but-watching activity. The aquarium had no interesting animal to be honest but it was fun enough attraction.

Sept 7

I flew from Seattle to Vancouver by mini seaplane. They call it seaplane because the plane has shoes like two pairs of cannoes and lands on seas instead of the fairway. It only took 30 min and it was very exciting experiences although it was kind of loud.

I don’t usually like ramen but I felt like having one with garlic so I did. It was so good to eat asian food:ramen in many days

Sept 8

I had a high hope for a digital orca but there was a big sign it was getting used by private guest so I had to take picture from far away. The upsetting thing was when I got back and when it was time to get on the plane it reopened for the public! uh.

I head downtown for brunch and on the way there was another cool place on google app. This alley is called alley oop. It is small alley but so pretty with yellow and pink.

I got some chocolate croissant and iced latte at Nemsis coffee. It had puffiest pastry I have ever seen but I missed Toronto’s cafe more, ironically.

I couldn’t miss the steam clock because any people were already taking pictures. It’s cool that there are steams coming out every hour.

And then, I wondered around the beach area and took a photo or two in front of science centre dome and BC stadium, I think it ‘s called Canada Place.

Granville Island was my final destination before I headed back to Victoria. I mean they got lots of local markets and shops that were fun tourist’s attraction. I took a little water taxi that made me arrive at the sunset beach. Many people were taking a walk and enjoying the sun there.

What a busy schedule. I arrived early to the sea airport and watched people running and enjoying relaxing day. Vancouver is so relaxed and cool with great nature.

Sept 10

Finally, it is my last day of the 4 day trip and I get to tour Victoria Island.
As soon as I woke up, which was earlier than 7am I went to two cafes: The ritual cafe and crust bakery. The ritual cafe had retro/vintage interior design and had a great latte that was very concentrated. The crust bakery had margerita Danish that was so so good and lemon custard-filled donut (?) like dessert. It would go well with Americano, but I ordered lemonade for some random reason. And, I had to eat them in another cafe nearby, which I cannot recall the name, because that bakery didn’t have much space to sit and charge my phone.

I headed to China town around 11 am. The left photo is taken at fantan alley. That is a like a street with Chinese aesthetic. There was umbrella shop that was cool in this alley, which I thought was worth visiting.

Then, I headed to miniature world museum. Oh well. there were so many mini versions of the world. Figures and nature. They looked real on the photo but in real life as much. But, it is worth the visit for the ticket price. It seemed a lot of work was involved making those. I liked the ferry tale themed room but I didn’t get any photos that I like. (i.e. old ferry tales like Alice in Wonderland, The Red Riding Hood and so on)

I went to fisherman’s wharf and saws lot of big craws that freaked me out but it was unavoidable with fish and chips there because they eat the garbage. I just took a picture and ran back to downtown since I didn’t want to eat fish and chips while worrying craws might attack me.

I got so hungry because it was like 3 when I arrived by the downtown area by bus so I headed to a Pho Saigon to have some pho. Oh well, they only received cash but you can’t go wrong with pho.

Sept 10

On the next day, I headed to moss lady in the early morning. It was at a park with lots of animals like peacocks and it was very smelly. It was kind of creepy to be there because there were lots of animals without much people. If you look at my photo closely there s a lady who lies down. hhh

Machie’s cafe seemed famous with line-up while I was walking by the leave-bag service place. I walked in and was surprised to see how historical it was as a cafe in Victoria. I ordered a mocha latte and cream brulee. They don’t go well as they are both sweet but they were delicious on its owns.

Craigdarroch Castle was my next head-to. It is not as big as you think but very meaningful place to visit and I bought a little overpriced suvenior: a white apron.

In the afternoon, I went to tour Buchard garden. Lots of flowers. I mean I am not a big fan of bees but the garden was beutiful and their ice cream sign was kind of cool

I went into a Japanese bar in midtown and it was highest review and star count. I ordered udon and spicy tuna maki and it tasted so good. But, I didn’t drink in a bar so I felt like leaving some extra tip.hhh

I headed back home on a night plane, which was something I would never do again because I couldn’t sleep at all on the way and I craved some tteokbokki and kim-bap (a.k.a. something spicy) because I ate too many food that doens’t belong to my culture.

That’s it of my trip and it was time to go back to my normal, routine-life.

Sept 13

I went to Zara shopping and got a scarf that would look great with denim jacket in my opinion. (But, I ended up returning because it was just too classic design with big flower pattern that didn’t go well with my age)

Maratang day. I went to Bestco at Ajax cuz I heard that it was big chain of Chinese things and bought $130 worth of stuff. The food court had great garlic shrimp and salmon sushi. Very very reasonable price. I would definately go again to Ajax one

Sept 16

Shopping and dating-self day. I went to vintage stores and bought a trench coat. Bready cafe was kind of trendy place to go in King station area and I got a tessman in navy.

Sept 19

Uber had a great deal in monkey sushi so I got a set for me and my brother. And, I dressed so much like a traditional lady that day and I finished a bottle of water for the first time in the month.

Sept 20

Toronto Vintage Show was on and I got a burberry-themed skirt. Mean bao had great spicy dumpling and pork bao. That matcha latte was kind of short in matcha.

Sept 21

Green castella from Galleria is very good and it was packaged in a smart way. Pls try.

Sept 22

Half moon bread is better than pizza sometimes. I forgot to order the dipping sauce though.

Sept 23

You know I work part time and has plenty of time so I self-dated again. A fall day so lots foliage and I kinda wore high heels which is rare and occasional thing. I had a lunch at Homepei Cafe, a steak and egg. The nail at Yonge dyed my nail in maple leaf color. A scenary outside the train station looked so good. Chrocheting a maple leaf and a ginko leaf was so fun and a great brain exercise. Learning is always fun.

Sep 27

Frying chicken in starch is best cooking strategy I learned from Tasty app. You should try cuz you can’t fail with that. The bus station in Ajax is not crowded at all. The gift giving is best thing you can do for yourself. I gave a candle warmer and a candle of my taste to the friend of mine to remember us and I felt better, more than her. Alongside that, I also bought a pookie-looking lunch box and leopard marble stapler to help myself at work. I decided to not spend too much from now on, that is the plan but wh

o knows. That lunch box will be my veggie box.

Oct 3

Pho after Pho. I mean that palce near CN Tower is so crowded everyday. They got a little sweeter pho than average phoes. I went there with my cousin and it was a great time with her.

Oct 7

Bica cafe was so hidden in my opinion. It was kind of hard to find from the subway station. It reminds me a Harry Style’s song somehow. They need more employees there because they got lots of customers.

Oct 8

The lake at Ajax has lots of stones and clear water. I felt so sad that day however there is always room to go up when you hit the bottom of the lake.

Oct 10

This was like the moodi-est day of this month and even this yar. I don’t know what I did because I don’t remember well. I left some comments to the star and I might have put some readers down. No offense though.

Oct 11

I walked on…. Oh well. My shadow looks better than myself. I should do this more.

Oct 12

Well. At this point, it got so depressing that I wonder should I write about it/ever?

Oct 16

I got new pajamas and eye sleep mask? I don’t even know what that’s called. Still sad.

Oct 19

I went to the lake to get some breezy air to refresh. The orange maple tree made me think everything changes. Bocados’s ice crema was mint chocolate flavour. I liked the neon sign. I made an appointment at a perfume a making workshop long time ago. I wan kinda not feeling well but I felt like it was a good exercise to do for my mood.

Oct 21

No fun sticker’s so funny. Exactly my mood lately. “Go for a walk” is my thing to do nowadays

It was my first day of work at a new position so I needed Americano to stay up cuz I had some restless night.

Simit is turkish bread. I had lunch here. I packed some for the others. It seemed like a great thing to do, to me at least.

Oct 22

Ruler jelly cat? Seriously? I was looking for jellycats but they are all here at Ajax.

Oct 25

Pho Dac Beit near the Nude Nail bar seemed to be new. I was very sad I see since there were lots of pho photos. (my comfort food) I got some nails done in blue color. I will get it in pink neon next time because it will look better on my hand.

Somebody threw away a mirror and a leaf fell on top of it.

Oct 28

I read a few and more pages of a book

Oct 29

Dating a friend in years is fun. The lemon shrimp cream pasta was the best. Thanks for the dessert 🍨.

Summary

I felt like health is one thing to remember to keep. I hope you enjoyed my pictures and writings these two months.

Good luck with the winter ahead 😉

Bye-bye for now
