How was everyone this September. For me, I was a busiest, yet, most fast-passing month of the year. With school starting, work getting harder to bear with, I had little time for enjoyment. Here’s what happened this September.

Luna Bakery (5376 Yonge St.)

While studying, I had some time off and I called my friend to go to this bakery that sold trendy rice cakes. The black sesame rice cakes were soft and there were some coffee as well as korean ades. I ordered a orangeade and he ordered americano. There was great sunlight coming in that morning and I had some nice time to get to know each other better. Very small spaced yet memorable place!

Cooking at Home

I cooked two meals this September, which is less often than last month. I was too busy to cook basically. With cold/flu happening in my life, two videos were best at the moment.

First snack I cooked is Potato wedges. I know you can find it in Tim Hortons but I wanted to try making it since potatoes are at their seasons. Mine would be a healthier version.

Second meal I cooked is curry with my favorite vegetable and some coconut milk. It tasted more foreign with the milk. I liked it. I added some pasta like a soup rather than on top of rice.

Uber Take out Meals

Around 10th of September, I catched a really bad cold and it lasted more than a week. So I had no energy or mind to go to restaurants even, so I Ubered them. I used coupons from my Niagara-on-the-lake trip and I could get them delivered at a cheaper price.

First meal is from Hae ryong Korean-Chinese Restaurant. Whenever we want like sweet sour pork, we order from here. It tasted great like always and I had great break with my family that day. Order chicken fried: one with soy pepper sauce and one with pepper oil sauce. Soy pepper was my favorite.

Second meal I got from Pho place near my house: Angus Pho House. I ordered 4 menus in total. Fried rice had bacon and shrimp, it could not taste bad with good ingredient. I recommend going to th epalce for pho and spring rolls because noodle got fat (?) on the way. Fried chicken was promotion deal, so it gets to pass.

Shy coffee co. (766 King St W #3) & Issmi Ramen (Downtown)

Hey, I got a new coworker, which is always nice and we had a meal together. She gave me this coffee the moment we met, which tasted sweet, mocha latte with almond milk. Conscious choice. We also ate Ramen at nearby place, I ordered spicy miso and she ordered sesame one. Best ramen I had in Toronto. I usually don’t like ramen but this one was actually less greasy. I liked this and willing to try more spicy ramen in the future.

Hot Black Coffee (245 Queen St W, Toronto)

It was a autumns morning, looking forward to work an extra shift. Plus, I could not sleep the past night so why not drop by a new coffee place to cheer myself up. There jem cookie tasted so original. I liked it. It is similar to store-bought cookie I like. Their coffee was unsweet but still good. Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere in the cafe and people who work.

iKEA @ Scarborough Town Centre

THey opened a new idea in Scarborough, TOronto! With no subway there, it got much difficult to go by transit for a walker like me. But I still went and did not get disappointed by my shopping. There were lots of kids in there and food court of tis own was kinda nice. Also, price was way cheaper the other stores.

They had convenient kiosk to choose food contactlessly. They had sweden meatball and sorbet ice-cream , which thought was kind of neat since the theme of the store is Sweden.

After looking around model house like store, I bought some stuff for kitchen.

I bought

A pink glass for my coffee to home-cafe.

Glove for lifting hot stuff in my kitchen.

A salad washing bowl that get rid of water by turning.

A clear shower curtain.

A nice cutting board. We needed one.

Ikea bag fit it all so I can get on bus with them.

Some Shein Shopping

I ordered fabric to practice sewing in my mother’s shop. The fabric that got delivered is kind of too small to make something but they still worked for practice. I will show me sewing when I get used to it.

I also ordered some fall clothes, although I did not need anything form too much shopping. September is kind of month you don’t want to shop for clothes because fall because clothes you buy will be too cold to wear for WInter and too thick for next summer. But I could not resist still and bought some clothes. It will get delivered soon. Very excited. See some of my choices in the screen shot photo. YOU absolutely won’t need these in everyday life. hahah (too often pay cheque is harmful for me sometimes)

Others

I walked around the neighborhood little by little for n exercise. I saw some nice nostalgia thanks to fall time and clear sky at Toronto. I ate some fast-food when it got harder to come on subway. Also, my cold medicine for almost 2 weeks to clear the cold. uh! I hoped I never get sick again this year. I still worked so it suckked for everyone there.

Summary

What a messy month with cold and sinus problem. I hope it was not as busy and ill like me for you. We are approaching October and a Halloween. Hope you start your winter nicely. Thank you for reading.
