I went to Quebec City for spring trip on April 30th, 2023. It was a bit cloudy but I had a lot of fun.
Getting there…
I chose to take a plane there, because it takes way too long to take train to Quebec. It was a right choice. Short flight of an hour and a half.
Dufferin Terrace
First, I went to dufferin terrace near the water to see hotel chateau frontnac. The building was huge and beautiful. Water was grey due to weather but the view was still nice. Great photo spot.
Marie Rollet Hotel
The hotel I stayed was really near the chateau frontnac. It was only $100 a night. Except the washroom is outside the room. Hotel room looked great. The way there is steep so be careful if you choose to stay.
Breaking nack stairs
On the way to market, there is a high stairs you need to go down. It is so high that I got worried of people who have to walk down during snow time.
Mary’s popcorn
There is a pop corn shop everywhere in Quebec and its name is Mary’s. They had variety of popcorns. The taste was fresh and above average. It is just popcorn 🍿, after all.
Dingue Restaurant
Okey. This restaurant is famous local chain in Quebec. I ordered egg benedict, but I heared that their lunch menu is great. Go there at lunch to have rib and soup. I liked breakfast and tangerine drink but I envied next table.
Place Royale
This place is called place royale and I think it is a old church. The wall art is called frescose and waterpaint was so detailed. Please visit if you go Quebec.
Market Street
The market street which name I don’t remember is small scale France village. It has tradition and beutiful shops that are like heritage. You can pick up a couple of souvenir that will remind you of Quebec.
Noel Christmas Shop
This christmas shop is famous because it was in Korean drama. It had weirdest wnd widest variety of tree charms I hace ever seen!
Videotron Centre
I decided to watch a hokey game in Quebec. I could not understand French but I could feel the excitement of people cheering.
Strom Spa
I also went to outdoor spa near the city. It is my first spa experience and it was ver relaxing. I hoped it did not rain but it was okey. No photo allowed though.
Pulliard bakery
This was my dinner at famous bakery. I ordered a set and they gaveme this whole thing. Very tasty.
La Maison Smith Cafe
It rained hard next morning. Luckily, the famous cafe was near hotel so I went in to get my breakfast, which was almond crossant and a latte. Tastiest almond crossant I ever had.
Summary
Thats it for the trip. I took a train to Montreal. Please wait for my montreal review too. The weather kinda sucked but the old town was so nice.
Thank you (merci).
