I went to Orlando, Florida for 4 days. This is day one when I went to the Universal Studio. I introduce you some photo spots and pose ideas at this studio.
Hi, everyone~ Guess what?
I went to Orlando between 01-12 to 01-22, 2023. I managed to tour three theme parks. On the first day of travel, Thursday, I visited the famous Universal Studio. Full of photo spots to take pictures and themed spaces of characters form hollywood movies. I had so much fun and took some of the best photos of my life.
Getting there
Getting to Orlando from Toronto was easier than I thought. I took Air Canada, direct line to Orlando. It took me like 3 hours to get there-the flight was short and nice. It costed me like $550 both ways. I reserved 3 days before so price may be much cheaper if you buy it earlier. I also reserved for theme parks for 450 dollars or so for three parks: 1)Universal Studio, 2) Sea World 3)Disney Magic Kingdom. There were options for many days at a park but I purchased all day pass for each because my travel duration is short.
Entrance Area
That’s entrance to the universal studio. The park was huge scale, nothing to compare to anywhere in the world. There is a turning globe, which is my main photo. It was kind of hard to catch the moment when it says ‘universal’ because it keeps spinning. Make sure to get a photo here because it is most famous photo spot, signature of the studio.
Voodoo Doughnut
There is a big figure near the entrance at the voodoo donuts. I did not get any donuts but there were a lot of people going in and many lining up to take pictures. That’s my camera holding shot.
Hollywood Area
First place I went was hollywood area, where there were fewer people and some nice restaurants.
Tall palm trees are giving great summer scenes. There were a lot of pretty looking shops in every color!
Mel’s restaurant at hollywood area looked so cute with three cars aligning side by side. The place was so American-looking, I could not just pass. I had a burger and fries combo on top of the menu and a vanilla shake. It tasted so good~~.
New York area
There were some singing and dancing on the street of New York area. They sang so well in live. Look at all those people enjoying the music and dance.
The minion ride line was so long that I could not get in. Go there, if you are minion fans, though! Warning: you can wait an hour or so. There was electronic signs for waiting time throughout the park, which was so nice.
That’s’ transformer figure with its building. So huge and there was dancing transformer character there too, who dance to pop music. Another photo spot that make you look smaller than you are. Don’t miss it.
Craving for coffee? I went to coffee shop near the entrance again. Their oriental salad was just amazing with arugula and peanut lime dressing. It seems like the store was inspired by a news channel. I look so exhausted im the video, lol. I dozed off there a few hour.
Simpsons area
There was a simpson characterwith turning eyes. The spot in left photo is on the bridge. There was also figure of police and car accident with spraying water, another great photo spot. The weather was too hot near 1 pm so I tried to avoid too much outdoor. I suggest having some meals near here at Krafty Burger shop. They had good shake and burger according to websites.
Harry Potter Area
The knight bus is another photo spot you should not miss. It was everybody’s favorite with the fountain. Sitting gives you better photos because bus is so huge.
Past the bus, there is entrance to Harry Potter’s area with lots and lots of people. Not a big fan of Harry Potter, but still I bought a harry potter’s necktie because it looked cute and the lobe was overpriced over 150 dollars USD. The street looked so nice with all the moving works. There was a dragon on top of a building that sprayed fire. (That scared me.) I really suggest going here in the morning since there are always crowds centering this area. The king train line was so long I passed.
That’s the butter beer place. It tasted so sweet but no alcohol. It was hydrating but not my style so I could not finish it.
Other things before leaving
There was one big water body in front of Hard Rock Cafe. The view was amazing.
The starbucks had big wall with good lighting. It is near the exit area. I had two drinks because I was so dehydrated.
Summary
That’s about it for universal studio at Orlando. I really liked the Harry Potter area and Simpson’s area. It was sucessful travel day1. I did not take any rides because I lacked time and some fear of rides themselves. There is a lot of universal studios around the world. Make sure you visit one to meet your favorite movie character.
