I purchased a lot of things this month and I wanted to share with you-ranging from electronics, fashion items, to a new blender.

Online Shopping

First, I share my online shopping list. Okey, you can tell I buy a lot of stuff when I can not sleep easily.

Google Pixel Pro 7

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Finally after two years, I bought a new phone! I actually bought a new phone from Amazon during Black Friday Week. It costed me about $879. It was an unlocked new one and I bought it to not rely on my parents for phone price. (very proud). I should have done that long time ago.

Overall, the phone is very good. Being not a big fan of electronics, I don’t know much about them but I don’t feel much difference from Samsung phones, to be honest. It uses android as a software so its pretty much similar. It says it had good cameras on internet post, that I agree with. The quality of video and pictures are much clearer. Audio? I think much the same. I mainly use phone for listening, taking pictures, and watching videos. I barely use it to make video calls and stuff, so I don’t know about how it works in terms of speed and quality yet. Mine is black but they come in different colors. I preferred silver one but they did not have it in stock at that point :(.

Hollister Co.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Hollister has good quality of clothings and it was on big sale for the whole month. So I bought three outfits. The prices were so good considering everything rising nowadays. I really liked the varsity jacket. The material of skirts were generally all soft and the colors were just right, neither popping out nor boring. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Amazon

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Next, It might seem strange that I bought accessories on Amazon but I always do that. If you buy accessories from a cheap store, it does not last long and often makes you upset. Amazon, as you may all know is quick in shipping and it sells pretty much everything. Plus, the prices are always good and quality is acceptable. I bought a beanie before and got amazing product so I tried again.

I really like bow clips when I am doing half-tied hair to go with my school look. I already have two black ones so I got red for this christmas, and the color was a bit too bright. I am keeping it though.

The hat was just amazing. Its quality was very good. No fuzziness and like the name said, it was foldable. Most importantly, the fit was great.

Ear muffs were so good and the fur is so soft. I really liked how big the muffs are. Excellent.

Okey, the scarf is the best product of this purchase. So soft and good quality. I always wear with grey or navy long coat because they are too light. Warming but not itchy on neck.

The bow was really pretty on shirts except the ends were coming off. They did not surge properly, but I can fix that.

Overall, very good for under $80 purchase. I am definitely buying more accessories from Amazon.

Blendjet

blendjet blender

One instagram post on portable blenders caught my eyes. It is called ‘Blendjet’ and it is a mini version of a blender so it is just tumbler size. The power is good enough to grind ice and frozen fruit smoothly. (I tried already.) I really like the product because you don’t need a power outlet cord to connect and power on. (It needs to be charged, though). It works both ways. The cute design with lots of options makes me wanna drink more smoothies. One thing I want to point out is that the blade is attached to the base so you cannot remove it like a cup. So, you always need a cup when drinking, if you don’t want to drink it straight from the blender. That was a bit strange to me. Also, they come through Fedex from US so you need to pay shipping if you live Canada, like me.

Michael Kors

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I bought a really cute dumpling-looking bag from Michael kors in grey. It looked kind of boring so I added a little accessory handle to make it look a lot cuter. I did not have a grey bag and I think it was a good buy. (It was around $140 on sale.)_The material is synthetic leather but was good quality. I shortened the bag crossbody belt because you know, MK has long bag belt.

Things yet to come…

Cider

Look how many things I bought from this online store, Cider. They looked so cute and the price was amazing so I bought a lot. But…., the shipment is coming from China so I need to wait a little bit more than expected.

I guess it is similar to J.ing or Yesstyle, where things need to be in their hands first to ship them.

I am expecting the parcel so much. Hope it arrives early enough so I can wear them this January.

Tommy Hilfiger

I heard that tommy’s on sale so I went in and purchased a white parka *with logo) and a blue scarf out of the blue. The price says around 150 dollars in total but I used paypal and it is in US dollar so I spent over $230 CAD. (So, I am warning you if you are buying tommy online, it can cost you a lot more than you are seeing) And, they charge for DHL shipping. I am still waiting because I just ordered.

In-store Shopping

Now we move on in-store shopping. It was cold so I went in a lot of shops and bought some stuff after actually checking.

Shoppers Drug Mart Cosmetics

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Okey, I purchased a lot because it is been a while since I bought cosmetics. I was running out of serums. Here are the list of things I purchased and some of my honest comments.

  • Clarins anti-aging night serum
    • I like this one. I like that it is oily enough that my skin does get really dry after washing. I like it and laura mercier serum, what I have already, together.
  • Biotherm blue algae serum
    • It smells amazing, first of all. Halieulic acid?, the one that gets rid of white heads from your face? I think it is working but I hoped they put more in the bottle because it gets used up pretty quickly.
  • Aveeno mist and toner
    • Okey, I am buying these again. The mist just goes on so softly and the spray is so fine and it is way better than the other brands I tried. Toner was not too watery or not too sticky to put on before serum. It also smells nice. They are also good price.
  • Laura Mercier loose powder
    • I always used pressed powder and this one is so fine that you cannot tell. It catches oil effectively. Just use with caution because you can spill the whole thing. And, you need a brush to put it on but they don’t give you.
  • YSL the long lipstick
    • I bought really red color in 407?, I think. I really love the shade but they smudge inside my mask so easily. I don’t mind the formula but it is very soft it wears off and the color is too bold for me. It was not dry.
  • YSL natural look foundation
    • I am satisfied with this product. The foundation lasts long and gives that natural look they promise. I used cushion that was too light before and this one covers a lot, compared to that. It is not stuffy at all to wear them and it does not crack.
  • Clinique vitamin cream
    • I don’t know about it. I think it is way thick in texture (too creamy,. like sunscreen) but it does brighten up the face over time. I would mix it up with another watery moisturizer Clinique has. (like 72 hours mositure surge moisturizer a.k.a the pink one)
  • quo sponge
    • soso sponge. it is a sponge after all. I don’t find beauty blender satisfying so I guess it is just me who like puff thing in cushion better than sponges.

Buy cosmetics from Shoppers, if you can. They give you points and you can buy some other stuff with the points like me. I always buy health supplements with points. I earned 40 dolloars with the purchase and it was worth of all my supplements. I liked what I purchased from here too. I used ‘Glowpick’ app which is korean app to find ranks of all cosmetics and I never fail.

Winners/Marshalls

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I bought two casual outfits at winners. Champion t-shirt, adidas jogger, and polo shirt and couple of jeans. It was boxing day but winners is always on sale so it stays out of sale. It is best to buy sport outfits from these stores. I think I would wear them often when I am working and working out.

Bestbuy Headphone

It was Boxing Day Week and you know the electronics can’t stay out on this day. So, I dropped by at Ajax branch and got a new headphone. It was 150 but I bought them around $90 including tax. Good deal. Noise cancelling and bluetooth. I think it is good to wear them when it gets cold and when you don’t want to be distracted. But, I need to be careful because this can be dangerous when car is passing by. The ear part is kind of big to be honest, but it makes my face look smaller so its okey. It hurts a little bit when I wore like two hours, but I think is normal to feel this way. Almost everything is out of stock go ASAP.

Softmoc

Rating: 4 out of 5.
crocd at ajax durham centre

I bought a new pair of crocs in white from Softmoc around $59. I really liked my pink one so bought in white so that it matches with any outfits and it is pumped so it makes me look taller. I really liked the style and you can get discounted for points. I got $10 off. It was very comfortable, almost like the flat ones. Shoes there are always cute and really wearable. If you did not know already try to go there for boots and slippers.

Vaughn Mills

On the boxing day, I went to vaughn mills. I purchased mostly North Face. The line was so long and you have to wait, wait, and wait. The prices were good but items were limited. I really liked the ice cream though. Healthy choice because it is yogurt base. 👍

Summary

Oh, boy, I spent too much this december but what is better than shopping at the end of the year? It is good time to buy because pretty much everything is on sale. Happy holidays and you treat yourself of your hard work too~~ Hopefully, I gave you some ideas.

Thank you.
